A quick walk through everything you can do in the app: find recipes, create with AI, organize what you like and plan your week.
Rather see it on screen?
The guided tour highlights each part of the app, one step at a time. You can skip it whenever you want.
Finding recipes
On the home page (“Explore”), type a dish, an ingredient or a style in the search. Filters narrow it down by cuisine, category and dietary restriction.
Didn’t find it? With an account and at least 3 letters, use “Generate with AI” to create a recipe from what you searched for.
With an account you can also search the web. Recipes from other sites can be imported into your profile: they stay private and credit the source.
Creating a recipe with AI
Tap “Create” at the top of the screen and pick a way: Structured form (ingredients, cuisine, restrictions), Open prompt (describe the dish in one go) or Chat (refine it until it’s just right, then ask to distill the recipe).
Every recipe starts out private. Publish it to the community whenever you want.
On your recipes you can edit, ask AI for a new version and add a photo (your own or generated with AI).
Like someone else’s recipe but want to change something? “Create my version” makes a copy of your own without touching the original.
Everything you create lives in “My creations”.
On the recipe page
Adjust the servings and the ingredient amounts follow along.
Cook mode shows one step at a time, with timers for timed steps.
Share the link, rate it with stars and a comment, and browse similar recipes.
The save, shopping list and meal plan buttons are here too.
Saved and collections
Tap “Save” on any recipe. They all show up in “Saved”.
Create collections (say, “Sunday lunch”) to stay organized. Removing a recipe from a collection doesn’t unsave it.
In “Saved”, select several recipes to send them to a shopping list at once.
Shopping list
On a recipe, “Add to shopping list” brings in the ingredients for the servings you choose. Matching items add up.
Check off what you’ve bought, edit amounts and add extra items. Nothing disappears on its own: clearing the list is always your call.
Your lists are in your account menu, under “Shopping lists”.
Weekly meal plan
In “Meal plan”, add recipes to each day and meal, with the number of servings. You can move or remove them later.
A meal without a recipe? Jot down free text, like “eating out” or “leftovers”.
“Suggest with AI” proposes a menu from your Saved recipes, your creations and, if you want, the community. Nothing is added until you accept.
“Copy previous week” repeats last week in the meals that are still empty.
“Build shopping list” gathers the week’s ingredients into a list, for the planned servings.
Pantry
In “Pantry”, list what you have at home: several names at once, separated by commas. No quantities.
The app shows the recipes you can cook now and the ones that are almost there (up to 3 ingredients missing), with what is missing.
“I have the basics” counts salt, water, oil, olive oil and black pepper as already at home. You can turn it off.
“Add missing items to list” sends only the missing ingredients to your shopping list.
On your shopping list, “Add checked items to pantry” moves what you bought into your pantry.
Community
Follow cooks you like; their recipes show up in the “Following” tab.
Everyone has a public profile with the recipes they published.
The bell at the top lets you know when someone follows you or rates one of your recipes.
Account and preferences
In your account menu (your name, at the top): public profile, edit profile, shopping lists and this guide.
In the footer, switch the language (Portuguese or English) and the light or dark theme.
